At the Joseph 1699 Hotel there are no two rooms alike, as it is made up of several interlinked buildings. Dating back to the 17th century, the oldest of these structures features a historical Mikvah – Jewish ritual bath on its ground floor. Interestingly, this building, which today is a part of a luxury hotel, once served as a poorhouse of the Třebíč Jewish community.
The cosy accommodation is complemented by a beautiful view of the town. The hotel is located in the middle of the Jewish quarter, the only Jewish historical site outside of the territory of Israel inscribed on the UNESCO list. In its winding streets you will discover a plethora of picturesque cafés and restaurants. Another popular place well worth a visit is Třebíč Chateau housing the Vysočina Museum.
